Clock in and out with a single slide.
Employees open SlidesClock on the phone they already carry and slide to Slide In at the start of a shift and Slide Out at the end. There is no fingerprint reader, badge or wall terminal to buy, and no queue at the door.

02Workplace verification
Check every clock-in against the workplace.
Each workplace carries its own attendance policy, built from three signals. A manager picks what the site can genuinely provide: GPS, Wi-Fi, either one, or both, with a registered-device check on top.
- Geofence radius per workplace; the phone’s reported accuracy and the age of the fix are part of the check
- Location is read only at Slide In and Slide Out, never in the background
- Workplace network matched on the server by public IP; the Wi-Fi password is never collected
- Registered devices tie each clock-in to the employee’s own phone, which stops buddy punching from a colleague’s handset

03Schedules and shifts
Everyone knows the next shift, including the night shift.
Schedules define what a working day actually is, so lateness and absence are measured against the shift someone was given rather than an assumed nine-to-five.

04Leave, overtime and corrections

A request made in a chat thread is one nobody can find six weeks later. In SlidesClock the request, the reason and the decision stay attached to the attendance record.

06Optional payroll
Payroll that starts from the hours actually recorded.
Payroll is off unless a company turns it on. When it is on, calculations take approved attendance as their input instead of a spreadsheet kept on the side, and employees receive their payslip in the app.

Attendance software is trusted with where people are and what they are paid. These limits are part of the product, not gaps in it.
No background tracking
Location is read at Slide In and Slide Out under a policy that needs it. There is no movement history.
No hardware to buy
No fingerprint reader, no QR code to print, no attendance terminal on the wall.
No trust in the phone’s clock
The server sets the time on every record, so a changed handset clock changes nothing.
Not proof of identity
GPS, Wi-Fi and devices are practical checks. SlidesClock does not claim attendance is unfalsifiable.
No silent edits
An original attendance event is never overwritten. A correction is its own reviewed record.
No statutory payroll filing
Payroll is a calculation tool. Tax and labour-law compliance stay with the employer.

Yes. Each workplace chooses GPS, Wi-Fi, GPS or Wi-Fi, or GPS and Wi-Fi, and can add a registered-device check. An office can rely on its network while a warehouse relies on GPS.
No. Location is read only when an employee slides in or out at a workplace whose policy requires GPS. SlidesClock does not track location in the background.
Changing the phone’s clock does not work, because the time on every attendance record is generated by the server. If a time is wrong, the employee requests a correction, a manager reviews it, and the original event stays in the record.
Yes. An overnight shift such as 22:00 to 06:00 is attributed to one working day instead of being split across two dates.
