Legal Agreement

Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 6, 2026 · Last Updated: September 6, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (whether individually as a frontline employee or supervisor, or on behalf of an organization as an owner or administrator) and the operator of SlidesClock, Chhunsour Seng ("SlidesClock", "we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using the SlidesClock mobile applications, web dashboard, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Workforce Eligibility and Authorized Use

The Service is designed and provided strictly for lawful workforce attendance and organizational management. You represent and warrant that:

  • You are of legal minimum working age and legally eligible for employment under applicable labor laws.
  • You have been invited by an authorized representative of your employer organization, or you are an authorized representative establishing a company workspace.
  • You will use the Service solely for genuine attendance, shift verification, leave management, and organizational administration.

3. Organization Authority and Management Responsibilities

The creator of an organization workspace ("Owner") and designated administrators (HR managers, branch managers, supervisors, and payroll admins) possess scoped administrative authority within their company workspace:

  • Administrators are authorized to issue invitation codes to employees and assign role-based permissions.
  • Administrators define shift hours, grace periods, rest days, and branch verification rules (GPS geofences, authorized Wi-Fi public IP addresses, and registered device policies).
  • Administrators are responsible for reviewing leave submissions and approving or declining punch correction requests.
  • Employers are solely responsible for compliance with applicable labor laws, wage standards, overtime compensation rules, and employment agreements. SlidesClock provides technological infrastructure and does not make employment decisions.

4. Account Credentials and Registered Devices

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials (passwords, authentication tokens, or linked Apple/Google/Telegram accounts). You must notify your employer administrator immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

When an employee clocks in, SlidesClock registers the device's technical identifiers (device model, operating system description, and IDFV on iOS) to link the attendance event to that registered phone. Users are prohibited from sharing devices to perform buddy punching or fraudulent attendance entries. Note that hardware-level cryptographic attestation is not active, and these checks do not guarantee the identity of the person holding a phone.

5. Attendance Evidence and Audit Records

When an employee slides to clock in or out, the Service captures point-in-time verification evidence, including server-authoritative timestamps (Asia/Phnom_Penh), GPS distance relative to the branch geofence (if required by branch policy), public IP address, and device registration data.

Original clock-in and clock-out events are preserved in the database to maintain audit integrity. If an adjustment is approved, it is stored as an independent correction record with supervisor review notes and timestamps. SlidesClock does not alter original records on behalf of any party.

6. Optional Integrated Payroll Disclaimer

SlidesClock may make available optional payroll calculation and digital payslip delivery features on supported subscription plans.

SLIDESCLOCK IS NOT A LAW FIRM, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT, OR TAX ADVISOR. THE PAYROLL FEATURE IS PROVIDED SOLELY AS A MATHEMATICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE CALCULATION TOOL.

Employers remain solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of tax withholdings, statutory deductions (such as NSSF contributions where applicable), minimum wage compliance, overtime multiplier calculations, and final wage disbursements under applicable labor, tax, and social-insurance laws.

7. Subscriptions, In-App Purchases, and Billing

SlidesClock offers tiered subscription plans with distinct employee seat and branch limits:

  • Free: Up to 5 employees, 1 branch, 1 admin. Core clock-in and leave management.
  • Standard: $14.99/month or $150/year. Up to 20 employees, 3 branches, 3 admins. Includes reports and CSV/PDF exports.
  • Premium: $29.99/month or $300/year. Up to 40 employees, 10 branches, 10 admins. Includes manager corrections and optional integrated payroll.
  • Empire: Custom enterprise quote. Configurable headcount and branch limits, organization-specific seat and branch limits.

Apple StoreKit Terms & Conditions:

Authoritative Storefront Pricing: Subscriptions for Standard and Premium tiers purchased via iOS are billed through Apple In-App Purchase. The price displayed in your Apple App Store storefront at the time of purchase is authoritative.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year unless auto-renew is cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle in your Apple ID account settings.

Cancellation: You may cancel auto-renewal at any time via iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Deleting your SlidesClock company or personal account does not cancel your Apple subscription. You must cancel through Apple to stop recurring charges.

Refunds: All payments processed by Apple are subject to Apple's refund policies. Refund requests must be directed to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com .

Apple Standard EULA: Your use of the iOS application is also subject to the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) .

Plan changes and organization billing

Plan and seat limits apply to each organization. An expired subscription or downgrade can restrict paid features and further additions while limits are exceeded. Existing records remain subject to the retention and deletion policy. A trial applies only if an actual offer states its duration and renewal conditions; the Free plan is not a promise of a time-limited paid trial. Separately arranged organization packages follow the price, duration, cancellation, renewal, and refund terms expressly agreed for that package. This page does not create an automatic renewal for a manual arrangement.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree that you will not:

  • Submit fraudulent attendance punches, manipulate location coordinates, or use GPS spoofing software.
  • Interfere with or bypass tenant isolation, security controls, or Row-Level Security policies.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
  • Use the Service to transmit malicious software or conduct unauthorized automated vulnerability probing.

9. Intellectual Property and Service Availability

You retain your rights in content you provide and authorize us to process it to operate the Service. You must have authority to provide organization and employee information. You may offer feedback voluntarily; we may use it to improve the Service without an obligation to compensate you.

All intellectual property rights in the Service (software code, visual design, trademarks, documentation, and logos) belong to SlidesClock or its licensors. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for authorized business purposes.

Third-party hosting, authentication, notification, and payment services have their own applicable terms and may affect availability. We strive to maintain platform availability. However, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Periodic maintenance, updates, or third-party outages may cause temporary service interruptions.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, SLIDESCLOCK DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

SLIDESCLOCK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS REPUTATION ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY FOR FRAUD, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LAWFULLY EXCLUDED UNDER MANDATORY APPLICABLE CONSUMER OR LABOR PROTECTION LAWS. WE DO NOT IMPOSE BLANKET INDEMNIFICATION OBLIGATIONS ON FRONTLINE EMPLOYEES.

11. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service in the event of material breach of these Terms, suspected attendance fraud, non-payment of subscription fees, or security threats.

Where practical and lawful, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy a breach; urgent security or abuse risks may require immediate restrictions. Organizations should export records they are authorized to retain before ending service. Leaving an organization or removal by an administrator is different from deleting your login account.

Upon account deletion, personal credentials and tokens are removed, while organizational attendance records remain with the employer organization under an inactive member identifier.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Mandatory applicable law governing consumer and employment protections remains unaffected by these Terms. Where a separate written enterprise or commercial agreement has been executed between an organization and SlidesClock, the choice of law specified in that agreement shall govern. In all other cases, applicable law shall determine the governing jurisdiction and dispute resolution procedures.

Changes to these Terms

Updated terms will show a revised date on this page. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law, and new consent will be requested where required. Mandatory consumer, employment, and privacy rights are not waived by using SlidesClock.
